In Remembrance

 

Warren Everette Mullins

Age 76, of Harts, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 20, 2022,

leaving from CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV.

Born August 14, 1945, at Whirlwind, WV, he was the son of the late Jesse and Earsie Tomblin Mullins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Reuben William Mullins; five brothers,

Joseph Theodore Mullins, Freeland Mullins, William Willis "Tommy" Mullins, Johnny Allen Mullins, and

Benjamin Franklin "BF" Mullins; and four sisters, Bonnie Meeks, Nancy Jane Williamson, Nellie Paschall,

and Frances Mullins.

Warren Everette worked as a butcher for over 30 years. He was the owner and operator of RLM

Butchering and Meat Processing at Harts, WV. Prior to that, he had worked for seven years in the salt

mines and seven years in the coal mines. An avid outdoorsman, he could often be seen working on his

sawmill and excavating and moving dirt. He often compared moving dirt to painting. Warren Everette

was a devout Christian and a member of the Little Walnut United Baptist Church at Dingess, WV. A

loving son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, he was very

devoted to his family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 56 years, Ruth Mullins; his children, Lisa Jane

Mullins and Warren Russell (Ramona) Mullins all of Harts, WV, and Ethel Lorene (Thomas) Lankas of

Charleston, WV; six grandchildren, Steven Jesse Mullins, Martin Everette (Ashley) Lankas, Casandra

"Cassy" Mullins, James Joseph "Joe" Lankas, Nina Sierra Mullins, and Sarah Rae Lankas; three great-

grandchildren, Levi Everette Lankas, Liam Martin Lankas, and Ronin Reuben Mullins-Luehring; and two

sisters, Olga (Lonnie) Coots and Ethel (Joe) Williamson all of Ohio. Additionally, Warren Everette leaves

behind many nieces and nephews along with a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2022, at the Little Walnut United

Baptist Church at Dingess, WV, with Elder Tom Vance, Brother Tommy Vance, and Brother Ked Messer

officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mullins & Tomblin Family Cemetery at Harts, WV. Pallbearers will be Steven

Mullins, Martin Lankas, Russell Mullins, Tom Lankas, Anthony Luehring, and Joe Fleming.

Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2022, at the Little Walnut United Baptist

Church at Dingess, WV.
